International Typeface Corporation asked Paul Davis Studio to guest art direct the 20th anniversary issue of U&lc. I worked in collaboration with Paul Davis and Lisa Mazur on a cover-to-cover design of the issue. We had the privilege of editing down 20 years of material from the back issues and showcasing it in an updated format. Using the roman numerals XX on the cover foregrounds the anniversary, while highlighting the proprietary typography for which ITC is famous.
