Spin's Fifteenth Anniversary Issue

As a design consultant, I worked with the staff art department to develop a one-off prototype for a special issue that drew from fifteen years of content. The split-run covers set it apart as a collector's issue. Content was organized into a book-like structure to create an impression of permanence greater than a periodical. By adding a new display face but otherwise using their font family, the identity remained consistent with the addition of what we called "special sauce."
